Angela Maria Di Taranto

Angela Di Taranto passed away on Friday September 8th 2017 at Mackenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill, surrounded by family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She now joins her beloved husband Cosimo Di Taranto after 44 years.

Angela was born on August 23rd, 1922 in Pisticci, Basilicata, Italy to Francesco Lapadula and Domenica Cataldo. In 1962, Angela joined Cosimo in Canada with their young family. Throughout her life, Angela was committed to her friends and growing family, for whom she cared for deeply. Always of the utmost importance to Angela, was the love she had for her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces and nephews, for whom she devoted her life for so many years.

Angela is survived by her daughters Nina and JoAnne and her five grandchildren; Vince, Vera, Marco, Alex and Massimo.
