Anastazia Kopy

Born in Poland on July 8, 1921, Anastazia was called home by our heavenly Father and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Saturday January 8, 2011.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Teodor. Loving mother of Mary (Lon), Stephanie (Paul), Paul, and the late Walter. Cherished grandmother of George, Natasha, Matthew, Michael, and Kristan. Great-grandmother of Luke. Dear sister-in-law of Genevieve Rogozinski of Niagara Falls N.Y., Justyna Warianka of Poland. Anastazia will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends both here and in Poland. She will remain with us forever in our hearts and memories.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Panachyda will be held at 7pm on Tuesday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (143 Franklin Ave. Toronto) on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 11am. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
