It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest father Anastasios (Tom) Thalassinos at the age of 77 on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Loving husband of 54 years to Panagiota. Beloved father of Chris Thalassinos and Anastasia Schembri (Michael). Most cherished Papou of Madeleine and Christopher Schembri. Beloved brother of Manthos Thalassinos of Komotini, Greece.
Predeceased by his parents, Christos and Anastasia Thalassinos, his sister Daphne Skotidas and his brothers Nicholas, John and Demetre Thalassinos.
Tom immigrated to Canada in 1967 and after moving from the west coast to Toronto to be near his brother Demetre and his sister-in-law Anna, he devoted his entire life to his family and his restaurant businesses in Niagara Falls and most recently in Woodbridge (The Texas Pit) at the same location for over 37 years before retiring in 2021. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, customers and all who knew him.
