Amy (Euphemia) McGregor
October 30, 1920 – August 11, 2016

Amy McGregor peacefully passed away at Sherwood Court Long Term Care in Maple, Ontario on August 11, 2016 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her loving husband John; brothers Alfred, Jim, Alan and Jack and sister, Gretta, and survived by her sister, Sally Curry. Proud mother of Maxine (Russ LaRose), Marilyn (Glenn Kindree), and Sheila (Enzo Petrongolo). Cherished grandma to Douglas (Janice), Derek, Steven, Ryan (Lee) and Meaghan. Great Grandma Gregor to Michelle, Aaron and Emily.
Amy immigrated with her family to Canada in 1929 from Carrickfergus, Ireland. She married John and moved to Toronto where she made a home for her family. She was proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank you for the dedicated care provided by the staff in Via Roma at Sherwood Court Long Term Care.
Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy #7, Woodbridge on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Cremation. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
