Amanzia Gubert (Simonetto), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25th 2023 at the age of 84.
Amanzia was born in Loria, Treviso on May 16th, 1939 to parents Bellino Simonetto and Marcella Galina.
In 1957, Amanzia married Bruno Gubert (predeceased). Together they immigrated to Canada where they had their beloved son, Edoardo, the following year. She will be sadly missed by all of her siblings, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and her many friends.
Amanzia's memory lives on through her son, Ed, his wife Linda, her granddaughters Jessica (Simon) and Mercedes (David) and her companion, Guiliano Gobbato.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Tall Pines for their wonderful care and compassion.
Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home located at 4671 Highway 7, Vaughan on Thursday, July 27th at 10:30 a.m. with service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Internment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Ataxia Foundation of Canada or Defeat MSA Canada.
