Alma Carruthers

ALMA BONITA CARRUTHERS Formerly of Glenroy Avenue in Etobicoke. Passed away at the Palmerston Hospital on September 20, 2009 at the age of 91. She is survived by her sisters Lois MacIsaac of Newmarket and Lillian Valentine of Scarborough and is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Turner and Jean Watt and her brothers-in-law Harold Turner, Mac MacIsaac, Johnny Watt and Don Valentine and also her nephew Doug Watt. A Memorial Service for Alma will be held at the Ward Funeral Home Chapel, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Drive), 905-851-9100 on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations in Alma's memory to the Royal Terrace Residents Council, Palmerston, ON N0G 2P0 would be greatly appreciated.
