Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at the age of 92. Devoted husband of the late Carina. Proud father of Liliana (Ugo Di Giantommaso), Rosanna (Aldo Moretti), Annarita and Bruno (Sara). Cherished Nonno of Daniela (Jason), Patricia (Mark), Gerry (Kristine), Melissa, Amanda (Jacob), Ashley, Natasha, Nicole and Alfonso. Bis Nonno to John Paul, Dante, James, Giovanni, Luka and Massimiliano. Alfonso will be sadly missed by his family and friends and will be fondly remembered for his love of his family and his passion for his bountiful vegetable garden, cooking, homemade wine, sausages and speducci, which he proudly shared with his loved ones. “Forever in our hearts, we love you.”
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. A private entombment. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ronald McDonald House-Hamilton would be greatly appreciated by the family.
