Alex Aragbonfo Emannuel Omijeh was born on the 24th May 1947 to Okoduwa and Ejiakianrene Omijeh of the Ewoyi Royal family in Uromi Edo State, Nigeria. He was the first among many siblings and attended primary school in his hometown. Alex Omijeh was a genuine and outgoing child. After the loss of his father early in life he went to live with his older cousin Prince S.A.E Omijeh who cared for him.

Alex Omijeh attended St Malachys Catholic School Sapele for his secondary education. He was an outstanding A+ student. He attributed his academic success to hard work and consistency; Alex Omijeh's love for service to God and his community began during his time in Malachy. He served as an altar boy, a passion for service he would embrace fully later in life. As a student, he enjoyed sports, mainly playing football and tennis.

In his final year in secondary school, fate drew him to a newspaper article about Pharmacists. He applied to read pharmacy at the University of Life without all the necessary perquisites, as he would fondly recall. Once again, with hard work, discipline, and determination, he graduated with honors as a pharmacist. After completing his mandatory federal youth service in 1975, he joined the pharmaceutical council of Nigeria. Alex Omijeh started his working career as the Nigerian representative for Park Davis pharmaceuticals USA.

After a distinguished working career, he identified the need to provide quality pharmaceutical products in Nigeria. In 1981 he founded Royal-End and Company and started a lifelong commitment as a pharmacist to provide safe, quality pharmaceuticals and medical equipment to Nigerians. His brand Royal-End has become synonymous with the best quality pharmaceuticals. He was the Chairman and CEO until his retirement as CEO in 2010.

Alex Omijeh met the love of his life Mary Ukpokolo and got married on April 29th, 1978. They had six children Ehi, Meme, Ozi, Onofua, Erene and Eboselume; he was a loving husband and committed father. Family meant a lot to him.

Alex Omijeh had an important life-changing date with destiny in 1987 on a business trip. He encountered his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ and gave his life to Christ. He spent the rest of his life as a Christian committed to the service of his Lord, preaching, and teaching the words of Jesus. His faith and love for God led him to take up the work of God as a teacher and a worker in the church.

Alex Omijeh went on to study theology at the All Nations for Christ bible school. He was ordained a minister with Church of God Mission International and continued exalting his community to live a life of love for God and for each other. One of his favorite bible verses is from 1st John 3: 1

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." That was his attitude of gratefulness to God for his life and the opportunity to serve his world.

Alex Omijeh lived a life of praying, studying, teaching, and preaching his faith to everyone. He went to be with his creator on his favorite day, Sunday, March 6th, 2022, in Toronto, Canada. He passed on in the presence of his loving children and grandchildren.

Alex Omijeh was a man of faith and a devoted family man who lived his life in service to God and his community. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
