It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alex in his 85th year on January 2, 2015. Alex leaves behind his beloved Gloria, children Cathy Hart, David Hart (Christine), and Cameron Hart; stepfather to Denise Senos (Rui) and Jeri Trotter; Grandpa to Shawn, Kimberly, Shona, Griffin; Papa to Matthew and Stephanie; and his walking buddy Sadie (his dog). Alex was a Freemason for over sixty years with Mimosa Lodge No. 576 and West Gate Lodge No. 734, Past President of IMSA (Ontario section) and member of the Ontario Provincial Standards committee. Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 9 pm on Thursday, January 8 and at St. Paul's United Church, 30 Main Street South at 10 am on Friday, January 9. A Masonic service will be held on Thursday at 8pm at Ward Funeral Home. Funeral will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main Street South, Brampton on Friday January 9 at 11 am.
