Alessandro Quagliotto
March 26, 1938 – January 4, 2015
God called Alessandro peacefully, on January 4, 2015, aged 76, following a battle with cancer, fought with dignity and the loving support of his family.
He was the beloved husband of Giacinta (nee Mondin) for 51 blessed and joyous years. Devoted father to Diana and her husband Peter Perruzza and Michael and his wife Franca (nee Salituro). His spirit will live on in the hearts of his treasured grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Alessandro and Massimo. Alessandro is survived by his sisters Letizia, Maria and Renza and his many nieces, nephews and relatives in Toronto and Italy.
Alessandro was a devoted parishioner of St. Jude’s Church community and will always be remembered for his loving dedication to his family and friends. Through hard work, dedication and passion, he established Trevi Millwork based on honesty, trust and respect. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to family, friends, neighbours, clergy and medical staff for their love, compassion, support and kindness.
Visitation at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Highway 7, between Pine Valley and Islington) on Tuesday, January 6, 6:00-9:00 and Wednesday, January 7, 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude Parish, 3265 Weston Rd. on Thursday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens (7541 Hwy. 50 south of Hwy 7). Memorial donations in Alessandro’s memory may be made to Radio Maria Canada (www.radiomariacanada.org) .
