ALDO FAUSTO FRANCO MARTIRE, February 6th, 1940 – March 16th, 2015
It is with great sadness our family shares that on Monday, March 16th, 2015 at the age of 75, Aldo peacefully passed away with his family by his side at Humber River Regional Hospital (Church Site). He was a loving, kind and gentle husband to Erminia for 45 beautiful years and proud father to Emilio (Joanne), Marco (Antoinette) and Enzo. He cherished his grandchildren, Trinity and Matthew, and showered them with love, laughter and hugs. He was born in Montalto Uffugo, Calabria, Italy and the second son of Emilio Martire and Aquila Bosco; and beloved brother of Carmela (Gilbert), Enzo and Flora (Antonio). As an Italian immigrant since April 4 1964, Aldo owned and operated a successful hair salon for 35 years. He was truly respected and admired by all who knew him – family, friends and clients. Lovingly remembered, he will be deeply missed.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston, on Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 from 5 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service to be held at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Westminister Cemetery.
