It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Aldea Marie Arsenault on July 25, 2024. Aldea was born on March 14, 1937 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. She met Gerard Arsenault in 1955 and married on May 5, 1956. They were married for 67 years and from that union had 5 children. Aldea was a loving and caring mother. She loved to travel, knit, play cards and enjoyed listening to music. She was especially good at crafting, and she thoroughly enjoyed her Bingo!. Later in life she struggled with some health issues, but with her strong will and determination, she persevered through it all.
Her children were her life!! She often would tell us. Loved her pictures and surrounded herself by with fond memories of her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerard, her two sons Charles and Terry, and her daughter-in-law Tina. She is survived by her sons Roger and Robert (Cheryl), and her daughter Janice. She was also survived by her grand-children, Lucas (Jackie), Emilie (Tyler), Travis, Phylicia, Tammy (Mike), Jennifer (Jesse), Chrystal, Natasha, Joshua, Victoria, Jacob, Jasmine, Lindsay, and great grandchildren, Sicilia, Selene, Isla, Esme, Jocylyn, Frankie, Johnny & Jack.
She is also predeceased by her mother the late Aurore and her father the late Roy , sisters the late Jeanette (the late Billy) and the late Rita ( the late Bob). She is survived by her sisters Dora (the late Gerry) and Therese (the late Philippe), her brothers Norman (Flo) and Bernie (Linda). She also had many nieces and nephews and Grands.
