It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dearest Albino Borsato on January 22, 2024 in his 90th year.
Albino was born in Padernello, Italy on April 13, 1933 to Lorenzo and Luigia Borsato (nee Zatta), with whom he is now reunited. Beloved husband of Antonietta for 66 wonderful years. Loving father to Dolores (Roy), Mara, and Linda (Russell). Doting grandfather to Nick, Daniel, Anthony, Adam and Nicole.
Albino will be remembered for his very calm and helpful demeanor, his infectious smile and his jokes. He was very dedicated to his work as a carpenter, and prided himself in providing for his family. He was an avid vegetable gardener, and loved to play with his budgies. He also enjoyed going away with his family, whether it be to a cottage, the park, or a picnic.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albino’s name to William Osler Health System Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
Friends and Family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at St. Peter’s Parish. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
