ten Pas, Albertus Gerhardus (Jerry)

Welcomed into the arms of his beloved Saviour on December 1st, 2018 in his 88th year in Wingham, Ontario. He was born July 1, 1931 in Winterswijk, Netherlands and is the son of the late Jan and Berendina ten Pas.

His faithfulness and steadfast belief in being received into his heavenly home, gives comfort to his three children Robin, Lindsay (Kelli-Lee) and Lesley (Harold).

He joins his wife, Paddy Ann (Kim) ten Pas, who predeceased him on November 9th, 2017. Their love, commitment and dedication to each other for over 55 years will make for a happy reunion.

Memories of him will be cherished by his grandchildren Danielle, Jesse, Caelan, Skye, Tyler, Hailey and Nathan. Your memories of “Funny Papa” will always make you smile in years to come.

Fondly remembered by his brothers Joe (Phyllis) Eric, (Evelyn), Fritz (Sally) and his sister Anna.

Predeceased by brothers Henry, John, Bill, Bennie ten Pas and sister Dina Grevers and brothers-in-law Gerrit Grevers and Peter Scheurwater.

A special thank you to the entire Scheurwater Family for your dedication and love to Uncle Jerry and Aunt Kim. Our family continues to feel blessed in all that we have shared together over many years of living so close.

Family and Friends will be received at the Maitland River Community Church, 414 Josephine Street, Wingham on Wednesday, December 5th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

Funeral Service to be held Thursday, December 6th at 11 am at Maitland River Community Church followed by a reception in the church. Spring Interment at Wingham Cemetery.

Memorial Expressions may be made to the Church in memory of Albert. His church family has supported and meant so very much to him.
