1943-2016

Suddenly in his 73rd year at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterloo with his family by his side. Beloved husband and life partner of 63 years to Carole. Adored father to Chris and Tracy (T.J.) and Grandfather to Craig (Ashlea), Jessica, Ashley, Matthew, Katrina, and Chelsea. Great Grandfather to Noah, Liam, Ellie, and Mason. He will be fondly missed by his siblings Sylvia (Dave) Geoffrey ( Anne) and Marion (Gerry). Alan was a proud business owner in the printing industry and, in his spare time, an avid golfer. Many winters were spent in Sarasota, Florida with close family friends Harry and May Rumsby.

Family and friends may gather at the Ward Funeral Home (52 Main St. S, Brampton) on Friday May, 13th 2016 from 6-9p.m. A Celebration of Alan’s life will be held on Saturday May 14th, 2016 at the Ward Funeral Home at 12 noon. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made in Alan’s name.
