It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas D’Arcy Milroy on July 19, 2023, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle at Etobicoke General Hospital.

Thomas was born to Marlene Alice Milroy & the late D’Arcy Vincent Milroy, in Toronto Ontario on September 1, 1956.

Beloved son of Marlene. Loving father of Kamryn, Harleigh, Daryl & Sean. Cherished brother of Karen (Michael), Kevin (Mary) & Mike (Amy). Dear uncle of Kristen, Sarah, D’Arcy. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family, friends & colleagues.

Affectionately known as Tom, his family will remember him as a warm & caring presence in their lives. A man who had a great sense of humor, was selfless, thoughtful & caring. Nothing made him happier than being surrounded by his loved ones. He loved fishing at Centennial Lake as well as golfing, a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan & a Star Wars devotee. His family recalls many occasions where ‘the man who could fix anything’ would come to the rescue, whether repairing a broken snow blower, building a fence or even working on a car. Tom worked at Apotex Canada for over 30 years, where he built many friendships.

He was, is and always will be a light in the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

All are welcome to join for a funeral service at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
