A Weston Girl
Sheila Joyce Beck (nee Wilson) was born to Monica Margaret Wilson (nee Caden) RN and Clifford John Wilson on March 10, 1950. She was born at St Joseph's Hospital in Toronto.
Sheila lived in Toronto all her life. She attended St Jude’s School on Weston Rd and then Emery CI. She worked at Kodak in the old town of Weston until the light of her life, Andrea Marie, was born. Sheila could not have asked for a more devoted daughter. She was very proud of Andy. We all are.
Sheila was the second of four children. She is survived by Terry and Deanie (Garry). Kevin passed a few years ago, as did Terry’s wife, Pat. Lifelong friend Janice was like part of the family growing up.
Sheila will be remembered for her unparalleled style, sense of humour, perfect penmanship and amazing memory, especially for dates. She used this skill later in life in her association with The Weston Historical Society.
Much admired, beyond compare, Sheila was a cherished mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be remembered with love, always.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be much appreciated by the family.
