Great memories of Aunt Joan at at the Kendall reunions , family home in Thistletown and family cottage in Washago. A fond memory of walking with Aunt Joan on a rainy night at Valerie and Steve's wedding in Nobolton . We both got a little wet and enjoyed the short walk together.

Dear Beth, Amy, Jeff, Richard, and Art.
Today I received a call from Brian. I am very sorry for the loss of your mother and wife. For me, my memories are all about growing up on the same street. Our homes were very similar. I have fond memories of growing up: playing Batman and Robin with Amy and the kids on our street on the front lawn, decorating our bikes for Uncle Bobby and the parades and going to school together. I also remember buying one of your mom’s candles, this one was pink, in a saucer with little pink roses, it was a gift for my mom on Mother’s Day decades ago, candles by Kendall. Your mom did an excellent job and it was in the bathroom window until I cleared the house. I remember walking down the street with your mom and she loved to walk. I remember your dad’s grapevines in the backyard. I remember my mom and your mom having tea parties at your house with the good china and your mom would always bake cookies and would throw in a recipe she got from mine (Chinese yum, yum). I always looked forward to visiting and your mom and dad when I came home because they always made me feel welcome and apart of the family. When my kids were small, they loved to come over to see the dollhouse and remember it very well. I always enjoyed seeing Art’s latest Art and has inspired me to paint as well. It takes a neighborhood like ours in a time when we grew up, to raise children, and for that, I am always thankful. I always remember sitting on the front porch and having good talks. We cared about our neighbors. I will truly miss your mom because she was carrying and loved visits and she was a beautiful human being and gracious to all. You are all very special to me. I love you all.
