My sincerest sympathy to Marguerite, Paul and family. Joyce was my best friend for over 40 years. We met a Simpson's Yorkdale and hit it off right away. Every time we we would get together over the years we laughed and cried over the memories of our times together. So many lunches, parties, fashion shopping excursions, trips to Gaspe, to see my family, trips around Ontario and the hours on the phone we spent talking to each other. Joyce loved life. I was so pleased and surprised when she had the courage to go to China on vacation in her later years. I loved her gentleness, her wisdom and her being to take one day at a time. I will miss Jyou very much. A short poem by John O'Donohue sums up what I believe to be the character of my best friend: Fluent "I would like to live Like a river flows. Carried by the surprise Of it's unfolding."
