In loving memory of my Aunt Nora. Shortly after I was born, Aunt Nora came to stay at our house (Don & Fran Davis) to help my Mother after she brought me home from the hospital. One evening, while having a conversation with my Mother, she thought that she heard the faintest of sounds coming from down the hall. She went to investigate and found me completely blue. Somehow, I had managed to get the ribbon from the neck of the knit garment that I was wearing down my throat and I couldn't breath. She removed the ribbon and I started to breath again. Aunt Nora was very very special to me. I literally owe my life to her.

Due to the impending winter storm, unfortunately the “Nelson” family won’t be able to attend the funeral for our Aunt Nora. We have decided to hold a celebration of remembrance on her birthday June 8th at the graveside with a lunch to follow where we will all speak of the memories we have of our Aunt Nora. We will remember her kind nature, giving spirit, and perhaps hoist a few glasses of the “good” scotch in her memory. She was a treasured member of our family and our Uncle Herb was one lucky man.
