Condolence: The cycle of life is the same for everyone yet when it is our turn beneath the wheel we are forever caught out, our faith tested and our sorrow blinding. Know that your friends lend you their strength at this time and stand close to shield and console you.
Condolence: My deepest condolences from our family to Paul and Stephen and their families at this difficult time.
One of my favourite "Uncle Eric" stories happened 54 years ago. The night that I was born, my dad called Eric, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.. Eric answered the phone....."Oh yeah.....Hi........a baby.......how nice.......a girl? Great, great......Thats a good weight, yeah.........healthy, good, good, ......mother and baby are doing well?......congratulations!. ...you said you're Chuck who? .....From where?....". So nice as Eric was!
One of the nice things about having a small family is that you get to choose a family. For several years Eric and Barbara were my uncle and aunt and later, michael and Erika's uncle and aunt. The first time Michael ever slept through the night as a baby was when Eric and Barbara babysat him. On the morning Erika was born, we called my mom. We still hadn't decided on a name but when my mother told me that it was Uncle Eric's birthday, I decided, right away, to name the baby, "Erika". He was a treasure to our entire family and will forever be thought of and missed. Thank you for all the love and wonderful times from many generations of our family. Rest in peace uncle Eric.
Deepest condolences to my lifelong buddy Paul, his brother Steve and family at this difficult time. Life is not always fair. Mr. E was definitely one of the good guys. He is with your Mom now. May they both rest in peace together. Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time.
Condolence: Deepest sympathy and love to Paul, Steve and their families and to all Uncle Eric's loved ones.
Uncle Eric and my Dad were close brothers as children and in their young adult years in the UK. Then Uncle Eric and Family moved to Canada and Dad and our family moved to Australia. Aunty Barb and my Mum would write and send photo's but the men weren't so good at that! I last spoke to Uncle Eric when my Dad passed away Dec 2014. I remember Uncle Eric as a kind, gentle man who sat and told me many a yarn about he and my Dad's mischief days as young single men. Love to everyone during this most difficult and sad times xxx
