The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alan Forrest can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: To the Family and Friends of Alan Forrest;
I knew Alan and Jean from the office of Dr.Smith as I am the fulltime secretary for over 15 years. They were a lovely couple together and I always had very enjoyable and light hearted laughs with them in the office. I often told Alan he reminded me of the Skipper on Gilligan's Island - Alan Hale I believe his name was. Mr. Forrest was a big man with a big heart and his friendly, jovial and warm disposition will be missed. I was so sorry to learn of Jane's passing a few years ago from Alan himself when he made the call. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for him. What a lucky man to have found love twice in a lifetime. My prayer is that both Alan and Jane, and his former partner Marylynne are resting in peace.
Warmest regards, Donna

Condolence: Alan will be greatly missed. He lived in our condominium community at Humber Hill Towers, 15 LaRose Avenue, Etobicoke for about 30 years. Al was well-liked, energetic and full of fun. Al served on our condo Board of Directors for a few years, and was President for a couple of terms. Al always ran a great owners meeting where everyone listened and spoke only when it was their turn. He was a good leader.

Condolence: Uncle Al, we remember you from our younger years when you lived in Aus and were able to reconnect when you came home and spent the summers in Sydney in your later life. Dad (Terry) was an avid home movie photographer of us 5 children and when you featured you were always larger than life and wow did you live that life. You will be missed and I’m glad you were able to meet our families and we have some lovely memories,
Your niece,
Vicki xoxo

Condolence: Farewell Dear Al....You certainly made a difference in our world.
I met Al in 1989- when I joined AMJ...he was larger than Life with his energy and his Voice! He and Charles always had a trick up their sleeve...and we always knew where we could find them after 12 noon!
Al, you showed great confidence in your work and you made a lot a friends along the way in the moving industry. I am so honored to be one of them.....Rosemarie ( ROSES!! )

Condolence: I just wanted to leave a message of gratitude for Al.
It may seem silly seeing as I am a server/manager at a local restaurant that Al and Anne would frequent quite often.
Their light and laughter were always welcome and we will miss Al deeply.
Much love to his family all over the globe.
