From the moment i met you I knew you were a wonderful person, you always had a smile on your face for me always made me feel welcome. You had an amazing quiet strenght about you that was infectious, Throughout the years i met many of your friends, just the way they talked about you i knew how blessed they were to be in your life, they held you in the highest esteem and always said you were one of a kind, and to know Roy was to know a friend for life, and that they were. Not many can say they have had the same people in their lives for over sixty years.Over the years you have had to say goodbye to almost all of them, We take comfort in the thought that they are anxiously awaiting to shake your hand again with a toast of your favourite single malt scotch. I will always remember you as the best dressed dapper true gentleman that you were, always opening the door for the ladies.. I mean who wears a jacket and tie while hunting? Family was your strenght, your gradson's will always remember your gentle guidance and patient love...the way your dry humour would pop out of nowhere and make them laugh out loud. Meeting your soulmate at the age of 17 and being truly in love with the same woman for 72 years is unheard of these days, but you did. How amazing is that?
Thank you for blessing our lives, and its never goodbye ...It's until we meet again
All our love..Colin Elizabeth Chris and Michael
